I love that feeling. The one where you feel like you're on the edge of a cliff, about to fall off, but you know if you keep calm you're actually hanging by a string and won't fall. I love that feeling. Where the driver is someone you've met only briefly before you get into their car and they speed down the high way. They weave through cars in their Explorer and they don't know that a brake pedal exists. It's that feeling in your chest, you know it's wrong but it feels way too good. So you hold on; you hold on for the ride. I love that feeling. When you are scared to walk across an over pass because of the off chance it might spontaneously combust and fall into the Garden State Parkway. The feeling of cars rushing underneath you at 80 miles per hour, and the pressure of the air pushing up off of them. You walk up to the edge and look out the fence and watch - just watch. And absorb. And feel. Feel like you've never felt before in your entire life. You feel completed and infinite all in one. Your chest aches with hesitation but you just keep gripping on for more because you know that string of fate will hold you in place. In your right place - and things will happen how they're supposed to. I love that feeling.
